Home
The "Studies in France" scholarship campaign for 2023-2024 is now open!
Last year, more than 4,800 people applied for a scholarship in France under the program created by the French Embassy in Mozambique and Eswatini, in partnership with TotalEnergies EP Mozambique Area 1, Limitada, Schlumberger, Banco Société Générale Mozambique and the University of La Réunion.
The platform for submission of applications is open until 31 December 2022
CONTEXT
This scholarship Program is the result of different specific agreements between the French Embassy and respective partners (TotalEnergies EP Mozambique, Schlumberger, Société Générale bank, the University of La Réunion)
These scholarships are intended for Mozambican citizens, young people and professionnals, with a minimum of 18 years old before 30 of June of 2023 who wish to attend higher education in France, in French and/or English, from September 2023. The program covers “bachelor universitaire de technologie”, "master" and exceptionally "doctorat" levels.
The French Embassy also offers masters scholarships for Eswatini. EmaSwati citizens are then welcome to apply.
For example, last year, this scholarship program provided 35 scholarships,
- 13 financed by the French Embassy;
- 20 co-financed by TotalEnergies EP Mozambique;
- 2 co-financed by Schlumberger.
These grants strengthen existing training programs and partnerships. They are testimony to the deep ties of cooperation between France and Mozambique and Eswatini, and underline the key role played by public-private partnerships in the development of the country's activities and companies in areas with strong challenges.
